Love it. A great version of this old-ass song (1920's), an obscure private release from Louisiana on Showtime Records, 1974. Great lyrics, great cajun / southern-tinged vocals, and a sweet sweet sax. It takes me right there - to that cold-ass prison where "for the wrongs I have done I have paid", then on the wings of an angel to my baby's arms. Warren, you're the best. It has a really good blunt-lyric breakup song on the b-side too, I'll get that up here sometime soon.
