Description
My favorite national park in California. I love it because of how biodiverse it is, and I think it is extremely underrated.
Places in Sequoia National Park I love (in the order of the video):
1. Moro Rock - One of the coolest hikes in the whole state. The breathtaking views are totally worth it 0.5 mi climb up the stairs. Tip: Visit at sunset for a magical experience.
2. Congress Trail - Gorgeous peaceful trail among the giants. In summer it is full of lupines and feels like stepping into a fairy tale! Mid-July is often the best for flowers but time varies from year to year.
3. Tokopah Falls - A 4mi round trip hike to a stunning waterfall. Best early summer.
4. Tunnel Log - You can drive under this fallen giant. It’s a unique experience and a great photo op. No hiking required.
5. General Sherman Tree - The world’s largest tree by volume. Absolutely must see. Short accessible trail.
6. Lakes Trail - a trail with four gorgeous crystal clear lakes. It is quite long and hard (12 miles round-trip), but you can do only a part of it and go just to the first lake (Heather). My favorite is Aster Lake, and also the view from Watchtower (last clip).

P.S And don’t forget Crystal Cave that reopens this year! More details in my yesterday’s reel 🫶🏼
