ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
(ʾAllāhu ʾakbaru ʾAllāhu ʾakbar)
God is the greatest, God is the greatest

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
(ʾAllāhu ʾakbaru ʾAllāhu ʾakbar)
God is the greatest, God is the greatest

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ
(ʾašhadu ʾan lā ʾilāha ʾilla -llāh)
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ
(ʾašhadu ʾan lā ʾilāha ʾilla -llāh)
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ
(ʾašhadu ʾanna muḥammadan rasūlu -llāh)
I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah

حَيَّ عَلَى ٱلصَّلَاةِ
(ḥayya ʿala ṣ-ṣalāh)
Hurry to prayer

حَيَّ عَلَى ٱلصَّلَاةِ

Hurry to prayer

حَيَّ عَلَى ٱلْفَلَاحِ
(ḥayya ʿala l-falāḥ)
Hurry to success

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ

For Fajr (dawn prayer), the following is added after "حَيَّ عَلَى ٱلْفَلَاحِ" (Ḥayya ʿala l-falāḥ):

ٱلصَّلَاةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ ٱلنَّوْمِ
(aṣ-ṣalātu ḫayrun mina n-nawm)
Prayer is better than sleep
