Description
The Choir of Trinity College Cambridge and Steven Grahl are joined by the congregation to sing the hymn 'Be thou my vision' to the tune 'Slane', a traditional Irish melody adapted by Erik Routley (1917-1982) at Choral Evensong in Trinity College Chapel on Sunday 9 February 2025.
The words of the hymn are a translation by Mary Byrne (1880-1931) of an 8th century Irish text. The descant is by Toby Matimong (b.1995).
