Description
'High Tide' (1994), a series devoted to the three Bs (beaches, babes, and bikinis), ran in syndication for three years. It was like three shows in one, as every year the premise changed. In season one (shot in New Zealand) a couple of surfer dudes worked on the side doing detective work for George Segal, an ex-CIA guy. By season two (now filming in California) Segal was gone and now the boys opened a surf shop where they keep running into people who need their help. Come season three, the stars are now skip tracers tracking down bail jumpers. Like the the guys' jobs, the themes also changed every year. For the first two seasons the themes were by Eric Allaman (appropriately enough, an avid surfer himself); for season three Alan Williams did the musical honors.
