Wandiu-diu - Hangeul Festa 2025✨🎶
The song is an adaptation of the folktales on Buton Island, namely 'Wandiudiu' or mermaidiu.

Once upon a time there lived a couple and three children. They live in poverty and hardship. One morning her husband brought a fish catch with a very hungry condition and then told his wife Wandiu-diu to cook immediately. However, after finishing cooking, his youngest son Laturungkoleo screamed and cried with hunger. Wandiu-diu forced her child to calm down by feeding her husband's fish and inviting his two daughters to join the meal. At the same time, the husband came home and saw the fish he caught had run out and turned to bone. The husband was furious because he didn't accept the fish and then beat his wife and children and left. Wandiu-diu doesn't accept her husband's treatment. He also feared a similar incident would happen again. Wandiu-diu said "I'd better go! let the children live with their father." After putting his children to sleep, Wandiu-diu goes to the sea. Until the evening Wandiu-diu never came home. His children are looking for his mother. They were saddened by the fact that their mother had turned into a mermaid and never returned.
