Description
Midnight Oil reunite to perform 'Beds Are Burning', live at Sound Relief in 2009. Originally featured on the album 'Diesel and Dust'. Written by Rob Hirst, Jim Moginie and Peter Garrett.
Sound Relief was a benefit concert held to raise funds for those affected by the Black Saturday bushfires in Victoria - organised by Michael Gudinski, Michael Chugg, Amanda Pelman, Joe Segreto & Tom Lang (IMC/Homebake Festival) and Mark Pope.
The event was simultaneously broadcast on television and radio at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Sydney Cricket Ground. Proceeds were donated to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal and the Queensland Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal to help flood victims.
