The second of two renditions of the main theme from the motion picture, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ that aired on Australian pop radio in 1961/1962.

The original movie soundtrack recording, by co-writer Henry Mancini, was deemed to have debuted nationally on the 18th of November 1961, peaking at the #6* spot (and remained on the chart for a staggering 45 weeks).

This second version, (mixed in wide stereo, arranged in a slower 3/4 rhythm and memorable for its distinctive blues themed guitar solo) was eventually credited with the same national debut date as the Mancini recording and proved to be equally as popular with buyers, reaching the #7* position.

Jerry’s disc was ranked as Australia’s 26th* biggest selling single of 1962 (the Mancini rendition came in at #30*).
