This song is released on the 1 year anniversary of my baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit as commanded in Matthew chapter 28. Reflecting on the last year, I have received countless spiritual blessings from the Lord and I can clearly see his provision in my life. While I’ve lost some things for his namesake, he is worthy to be praised because he is the author and finisher of my faith. Jesus, my God and my saviour, bore my cross and paid the eternal punishment of my sin in my place. I pray that the work of the Holy Spirit in my regeneration and transformation is evidence of His existence, and that you may see His light shining through us. Return to your Heavenly Father with a contrite heart!
